Ditched Launch Party & Cover for The Classroom

The launch party for DITCHED in Santa Monica was fabulous!! Thank you to everyone who came out and ate cake and got a book signed–it was an amazing feeling to  look out and see SO MANY happy, shiny people. It meant the world to me.

My whole family came into town from Georgia so I spent most of the weekend overwhelmed with emotion and happiness that we were all hanging out. The day after the launch party, nine of us went to DisneyLand (in the pouring rain) and it was an absolute blast.

And now…a launch party…

{Here I am the next day at DisneyLand. It’s true I’m tall, but apparently Mickey is downright petite!!}

And in middle grade book news…my editor sent me the final cover of THE CLASSROOM. There are a few changes. You may notice the woman “interviewing” Trevor. Does she look like a particular author?? ;)

    Yay for DITCHED! The launch party was so much fun!

    And I was wondering if it was just a coincidence that the reporter on the cover looked like you! ;-)

    You are on your own cover!!

    Congratulations on your launch and best of luck with the upcoming Classroom!

    Wahoo to Launch Bash #2. I had a fine time reading Ditched & wish it & you a mahvelous run. Also, I’m so pleased Eve was there. It would be grand to see her again.
    Onward & upward.

  • About Robin

    The first book in my middle grade series, THE CLASSROOM: The Epic Documentary of a Not-Yet Epic Kid, is now available from Disney-Hyperion. It's a mockumentary of life in seventh grade...oh, the awkwardness.

    And my teen novel, DITCHED: A Love Story, is about a 16-year old girl who has one of those nights she'll always remember (and a prom she wants to forget). Check out the Teen Books section for an excerpt!
